What's New -

I'm completely booked through the holidays for family sessions - thank you, my clients and friends, for making this such a fun season!

I'm now booking into March and April for 2011, but if you're desperate for family portraiture for the holidays, please inquire on my Contact page. I'll be happy to refer you to a few colleagues of mine that do excellent work and who may have a few spots available for portraits.

There have been a few bugs with my email account - so if you've emailed to inquire about a photography session and didn't get a response, please call me to let me know. I'm working to iron out the problem, but don't want anyone to fall through the cracks.

Check back in the new year - for a completely re-vamped portfolio, website, and blog. It's time for a fresh start!

Dayna thank you so much for the wonderful photographs you took of our family. Everyone who has seen them is wowed, as are we. You would never guess from the beautiful results that our 3 year old and puppy both played up during the studio session! You captured the essence of both Jasmine and Choggie within the photographs and we will treasure them always. Not to mention Sean and I are not naturally photogenic and you produced shots of us that we are happy to hang on our walls. You have a wonderful talent and I am so glad you shared it with us - thank you, thank you, thank you!

Some of your photos are truly amazing. And from my experience some of them may be relevant to magazine market. Have you ever thought about that? In most cases it’s not about sending photos that your friends like, I would say in most cases magazines have really strange requirements. There are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. And certainly don't be despondent when your images are rejected or not used. After all it’s fun.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the amazing job you did on our maternity photos!! I knew they'd be good because of your talent and skill, but you actually made me look GREAT, so that in itself is a miracle. :P Seriously, though, I couldn't have asked for better pictures. And to have my friend be the one taking them is the icing on the cake! You made me feel so comfortable, which I think is obvious in the shots.

Congratulations on finding your calling -- you are one talented photographer. I wish you all the best in your developing career. I'm sure once word gets out, you'll be a huge success!
